$85,000 fine for company when worker killed during truck repair

A worker was killed when trying to repair a air bag shock absorber (air-spring). The company was fined because it did not properly train the worker and failed to ensure the worker was a licensed mechanic and qualified to work on trucks. The company also lacked standard operating procedure in place setting out the safe practice in performing this task.
